SegTours,
LLC is now taking applications for full- and part-time
customer service positions.
We
encourage college students and responsible adults to
apply. Note that these positions are NOT tour guides
and no historical knowledge of the area is necessary.
General
Staff responsibilities include taking reservations,
completing and managing paperwork, recording transactions,
cleaning and maintaining equipment, training customers,
and providing other customer services.
7
hours of Segway experience is required but preferred
applicants without Segway experience will be given passes
to take standard tours (including standard Segway training
and equipment) as necessary in order to meet this requirement.
Staff
positions will be selected from those applicants who
demonstrate a proficiency on the Segway, adherence to
safety procedures, and an outgoing personality.
Specialized
Tour Escorts will be selected from interested
applicants who demonstrate a mastery of the Segway and
other required skills. Escorts will accompany tour groups,
operate audio equipment, monitor for safety compliance,
and have the opportunity for substantial additional
income, including tips.
Flexible
schedules are available. Preference is given to those
who are available to work on short notice.
